Finding accommodation for an entire family, plus a pet, is often difficult. Even those hotels and inns that do allow pets often require an expensive deposit in advance. Dogs love to travel in a caravan. It is much easier to take a trip with the family pet in a nice roomy space, instead of at close quarters offered by a car.
